I started juicing raw vegetables and apples in 1996. It is very easy to do. All you need is a good press.
Much of the food people eat, like french fries, fried chicken, popcorn microwave, doughnuts, margarine, biscuits and pastries contain a blockage of arteries-fat called trans fat. This fat can lead to type two diabetes, high cholesterol and other health problems. If you want to live a long, healthy, vibrant life, you have to take care of your body by providing good nutrition. That is why I am so hard to advicate Juicing.

The benefits of consumption of these fresh, health drinks are many. They aid in keeping organs like heart, liver and kidneys strong and healthy. They also help prevent colon cancer and keep your digestive system in perfect shape. It is because they are a major supplier of protein, vitamins and minerals.
These drinks also boost the immune system and promote research on healthy skin.
Another advantage for the health of the consumption of these drinks is they help you lose weight and lower cholesterol naturally.
Nutritional health starts inside
I firmly believe that if you work to be healthy inside, it will show-up on the outside.
Sometimes, when I run into old friends they tell me that I am in very good health. I believe that the juice that I drink a lot to do with it.
I know a woman who smoked for many years. When she finally quit smoking, I noticed in a short period of time, the skin of his face healthy. It was almost a glimmer of it.
Can you imagine what would happen if more and more people work to be healthy from the inside? I can!
Raw vegetable juice cooked vegetables verses
You will perhaps tell you that I eat lots of vegetables cooked with my meal so why should I consider juicing? Well let me give two reasons:
1.When you cook vegetables at temperatures above 114 degrees, heat destroys enzymes. (Enzymes are naturally occurring chemicals in the human body that allow a chemical reaction takes place). In other words enzymes are important because they aid in digestion and absorption of food in your body.
From fruit and vegetable juices that are sold in a shop or supermarket must go through a process of pasteurization before being sold to you the customer. The reason for this process of pasteurization is to give these drinks lifetime. However, during this process heat reaches about 120 degrees destroying enzymes.
However enzymes in raw vegetables or fruit, beverages are alive. They are therefore able to do the job they are intended to be done.
2.When juice you, you separate the liquid from the fiber. Thus the value of food is available to the body in amounts much higher than if the piece of fruit or vegetables are eaten whole.
If you eat a raw carrot, your body would be able to absorb about 1% of vitamin A (beta-carotene). That's because most nutrients in a carrot are locked in its fiber. However, if you separate the liquid from the fiber, your body will be able to absorb 90% of nutrients. Pretty amazing!
For me juicing is by far the best way to give your body the nutrients it needs for Youth and disease free life.
